HTP 38: Hunnert Car Pile-Up

We attend the Hunnert Car Pile-Up in Morris, Illinois. It's a traditional style car show for 1964 and earlier rods and customs that are built in a fashion that represents that era. Only mags that are styled 1964 and earlier, no independent suspension on open wheel cars, etc. Rods and customs, rat rods, trad rods, lots of rust, wild paint jobs, rockabilly bands, vendors and lots of fun. An overflow of spectators led to some interesting altercations. Hope there will be a 2010 HTP, as there are rumors saying in could be the last.We talk to lots of interesting people, that include owners of a turocharged Offy powered Model A, a bomber inspired '37 Ford rat rod pickup, a Ford powered Henery J, a Model A Ford transformed into a extended cab pickup, a rat rod with a Pontiac dash, and a cool '54 Chevy custom. Check for photos on our Flickr site, more to follow.(35m33s)< Click here to listen to or download HTP 38: Hunnert Car Pile-Up
